Welcome to the NCSSWA Website. As we move forward to service the children and families of our schools we invite you to review this page as often as you like. New information & links are posted monthly.
School Social Work Week is recognized in the Month of March all across the United States. NC Governor Roy Cooper and his staff along with other entities set aside March 7-13, 2021 to proclaim this time as School Social Worker Week!
On behalf of the NCSSWA, I would like to thank each and every School Social Worker for a job well done before and during this pandemic era.

NCSSWA Thank You for Being
Commitment and Dedication to the Profession of School Social Work.
Our Primary Goal is focusing on meeting the social/emotional and academic needs of our students. We do this by connecting family, home, school, and the community together.
Due to the COVID-19 CDC Guidelines and the State Governor "Roy Cooper" mandated restrictions for gatherings, the NCSSWA Fall Conference has been rescheduled for 11/9/21-11/12/21 Embassy Suites Cary, NC . More information will be forthcoming in 2021.
Thank you to all the School Social Workers in NC!
Coming soon to all NCSSWA members a token of appreciation!
